Yes. In order to apply to take the SC Real Estate Sales examination, you must complete a Commission approved 60 hour Pre-licensing course. The only exception to this would be if you have a law degree or a four year BA with a major in real estate.
Yes. After completing the Unit I course, you must complete the 30 hour Unit II course before you can become a licensed realtor.
You can choose to sit for your licensing exam either after completing Unit I or after completing Unit II; however, you cannot obtain a real estate salesman license until you've completed the Unit II course. You will schedule to take your licensing exam through the South Carolina Real Estate Commission.
