How To Get Your Real Estate Salesperson License
The requirements vary state by state, but most cases you can expect to:
- Be a citizen of the United States
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Provide a criminal background check
- Complete numerous hours of pre-licensing coursework with an approved real estate education provider
- Receive a passing score on the state license exam
